A copper tube heat exchanger is a device that transfers heat between two fluids such as liquids or gases using copper tubes as the main heat transfer surface

Description
In a copper tube heat exchanger one fluid flows inside the copper tubes while another fluid flows around the outside of the tubes or in nearby passages The heat is transferred through the copper tube walls from the hotter fluid to the cooler fluid without mixing

Copper is widely used because it has excellent thermal conductivity good corrosion resistance and is easy to manufacture and maintain

Working principle
Hot fluid enters the heat exchanger through one side
Cold fluid flows on the opposite side of the copper tube wall
Heat is transferred through the copper by conduction and carried away by the colder fluid by convection
Both fluids exit at different temperatures after heat exchange
