The fins on the surface increase the surface area of bare tube that results to a compact heat exchanger. The application area of the tube includes transferring heat from hotter to a colder fluid with the help of tubes wall. The rate of transfer of heat depends on the difference of temperature between the fluids, heat transfer coefficient between fluids and tube wall and the surface area on which fluid is exposed. The Spiral Fin Tube is used in steam radiators, finned tube heat exchangers, condensers, ovens, dryers, furnaces, autoclaves, oil coolers, air compressors, air heaters, aftercoolers and other heat transfer equipments.
